Brazil's green coffee exports rise annually for first time since March

Brazil's green coffee exports grew year-on-year in December, the first annual rise since March, data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services showed on Tuesday.

Brazil's green coffee exports rose 4.2% in December 2025 from the same month in 2024, to about 210,300 metric tons or 3.5 million 60-kg bags.

On the other hand, Brazil's green coffee exports fell from the about 212,200 tons shipped in November.

Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer and exporter, faced challenges in the market this year, including lower supply and tariffs imposed by the U.S.

Donald Trump removed in November additional tariffs he had imposed on U.S. imports of some Brazilian goods, including green coffee.
